This week, I recalled an old 2performant presentation discussing the various reasons why women purchase dresses.

There seem to be many reasons, and I believe they may not even have covered 10% of them. I, too, don't think I've ever bought a dress simply because I didn't have another one. And even though I don't encourage financial waste, treating yourself to a dress every now and then can mean, as it did for me these days:

• Getting through some overly hot summer days comfortably.
• Heading to the office with joy.
• Or just feeling cute.

Bellow you will find a few pictures of my new dresses from @bonprix.

In a recent survey on Facebook, it was evident that for you, just like for me, favorite summer clothing pieces are long dresses and sunglasses. So, I'm happy to show you mine, and in a more unique setting, amidst the Lavender fields of Vrancea :)

Saptamana aceasta mi-am adus aminte de o prezentare veche 2performant in care se discuta despre motivele diverse pentru care femeile cumpara rochii. 

Par multe motive, si cred ca nici macar nu au acoperit 10% din ele. Nici eu nu cred ca am cumparat vreodata o rochie pentru ca nu mai aveam alta. Si chiar daca nu incurajez risipa financiara, sa iti faci cadou din cand in cand o rochie poate insemna asa cum a insemnat pentru mine zilele acestea:

• sa trec cu bine de niste zile prea calduroase de vara
• sa ma duc cu bucurie la birou
• sau sa ma simt pur si simplu draguta.

In sondajul facut de curand pe Facebook reiesea ca si pentru voi, ca si pentru mine, piesele vestimentare preferate vara sunt rochiile lungi si ochelarii de soare. Asa ca ma bucur sa vi-i arat pe ai mei, si intr-un decor mai deosebit, in Lavanda Vrancei :)

This weekend, I discovered Galati and the city's botanical and Japanese garden. If I tell you that they are more beautiful than those in Bucharest, you might not believe me, so I've brought evidence with the pictures below, as well as the ones on Facebook and Instagram.

The outfit is almost entirely from bonprix, from the cap, sunglasses, and earrings to the t-shirt, sneakers, and pants. As I've been obsessed with spring pastel colors, this pair of pants, so soft and comfortable, won't surprise anyone, along with a secret message:

"Slow down, relax, and enjoy life." 🌸

If someone had asked me how often I would wear a white dress, I probably would have said rarely. However, this knitted dress from @bonprix has won me over, and I've taken it with me to many beautiful places I visited during weekends this month:

It was different during the trip to Rasnov, where I stopped on a hilltop and could walk without worrying about snow getting into my shoes or wetting my pants. The thermal pants and high, fur-lined winter boots are perfect for mountain excursions, so I can't wait for the next weekends on the slopes.

Daca m-ar fi intrebat cineva de cate ori as purta o rochie alba i-as fi zis ca probabil rar, dar rochita aceasta tricotata de la @bonprix m-a cucerit, si am plimbat-o cu mine luna aceasta pe la o multime de locuri frumoase in care am ajuns in weekenduri:

 

 

Altfel a fost si plimbarea la Rasnov, cand am oprit pe un varf de deal si am putut sa ma plimb fara grija ca imi va intra zapada in incaltaminte, sau ca imi voi uda pantalonii. Pantalonii termo si cizmele de iarna inalte si imblanite sunt perfecte pentru excursiile la munte, asa ca abia astept urmatoarele weekenduri pe partie.

Stii ca un produs e cu adevarat bun atunci cand ti-l iei a doua oara, doar sa il ai si pe alta culoare. Asa si eu cu aceasta geaca de iarna @bonprix, pe care am avut-o weekendul acesta intr-o plimbare la Mogosoaia. 

Mantoul, canadiana sau cum vreti sa ii spuneti are un material extrem de moale si de placut, un cordon in talie, si se poate inchide atat cu fermoar cat si cu niste capse. 

Minunea e ca are un material atat calduros cat si racoros in functie de mediu si de modul in care o inchideti. Este cu adevarat geaca mea preferata de pana acum.

This weekend, I fully enjoyed the autumn season. On Saturday, I went on a trip to the Cheile Varghisului Nature Reserve in Covasna, and on Sunday, I strolled around the city near the Mitropolie and among the tall trees along Unirii Boulevard. I liked coordinating my outfit and makeup with the scenery, so I wore a draped brown-mahogany dress from bonprix and kept warm with some 100 den thermal-insulated tights and Punto di Roma pants that highlighted some curves I didn't even know I had :))

I gave up sunbathing many years ago and never leave the house without applying SPF cream. However, it wasn't until this year that I learned about UV protective clothing. As soon as I heard about them, I searched to see if bonprix had any, and I found this UV-resistant dress.

I took it with me this weekend to a beautiful spot near Bucharest, an observatory at Delta Neajlovului in Comana, with tranquility and beauty reminiscent of the delta.

I liked the fine material (I was curious whether UV protective clothing had a thicker or different-feeling material, but fortunately, there's no noticeable difference), as well as the semi-long sleeves.

I completed the outfit with a cap and a shoulder bag in matching colors. I hadn't worn a cap in a while, so I was glad to be reminded that it serves as a substitute for sunglasses.

 

Am renuntat de multi ani la statul la plaja si nu ies din casa fara sa aplic crema SPF, dar uite ca pana anul acesta nu stiam ca exista haine cu protectie UV. Imediat cum am auzit de ele am cautat sa vad daca exista pe bonprix si am gasit aceasta rochie contra UV.

Am luat-o cu mine weekendul acesta intr-un loc frumos de langa Bucuresti, un observator din Delta Neajlovului, la Comana, cu liniste si frumusete ca in delta.

Mi-a placut materialul fin (chiar eram curioasa daca hainele contra UV au un material mai gros sau altfel la atingere, dar din fericire nu se simte nicio diferenta), dar si manecile semi lungi.

Am completat tinuta si cu o sapca si o geanta de umar in culori apropiate. Nu mai purtasem de mult sapca asa ca m-am bucurat sa-mi amintesc ca tine loc de ochelari de soare.

This Sunday, I embarked on a day trip to Balchik to explore the beautiful gardens of Queen Maria's castle. Luckily, the weather was sunny, and I made my day comfortable with a bonprix outfit that I recommend for such warm days and walks that involve long journeys: a viscose shirt dress with lace inserts and slipper shoes with YouFoam.

As you can probably tell from the pictures, the footwear was indeed comfortable, and the dress showcased great quality. Even after spending 5 hours in the car to get there, it still looked impeccable.
